I think I'm obsessed with my walk home from campus. I always choose to walk back when the sun's setting or shining brightly, and as you can see from above, it was a gorgeous and cloudless day. This road sometimes feels endless to walk down, the road I live on parts off at the very end of this long street, but when there's nice weather it's not as painful.

On Wednesday me and the boyfriend went for a extremely white girl lunch date in a new café in Southampton, Ebb and Flow. My boy preceded to laugh at me as I was honestly in blogger heaven - mismatched but matching decor, vintagey feel, afternoon tea - need I say more?! Needless to say I felt right at home. I had sweet potato fries and a mug of camomile tea, just what I needed on a Wednesday!

You could gather that I'm going through a huge sweet potato phase right now, they're a healthier and yummier alternative to normal chips! I also made my own beefburgers, then fried mushrooms and babycorn in butter, it was incredible. One of my house mates has recently started eating healthier, and has inspired me to attempt to eat a bit healthier too!

After three years of the same badminton shoes, and waiting til the very end of their sporting lives (holes galore), I finally decided to invest in a new pair of shoes. As a poor student buying sports shoes is not a regular thing, but managed to get them for a good price! Most of my sportswear has a hint of pink somewhere to keep it sassy and my new pair of shoes are no different. They're a little too white for me right now but they should have that lived-in look in a few weeks.

Thanks for reading! What have you been up to this week? xx
